Terms and Conditions for Stand Hire
This is for HIRE only NOT to buy so the security deposit is refunded when the stand is returned, (assuming it is returned in the same condition as it was received by the customer).
There is a £10 cleaning charge if the stand is not returned in condition received e.g. bits of food or glitter or other items are found on the stand when returned.
So the stand MUST be cleaned with non abrasive materials.
No sticky material/or similar product is to be applied and/or left on the stand.
We post nationally (and are the only cake company who have provided a national stand hire service since 2005).
postage charge is required on booking. We post only to (standard) UK addresses, please check postal charges prior to booking.
The customer is responsible for returning the stand and must arrange return postage to ensure the hire period is not exceeded, any alteration in the hire period MUST be agreed in advance and prior to booking.
We are happy to arrange the return collection too, in which case the return postage costs will also be required. This must be paid after booking.
You can also COLLECT FREE in person from Barker Bakes, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, in which case an appointment must be made first by phoning 0121 311 1624 as we are not open to the public.
Late return will incur late charges of £5 hire PER day, and as the parcel is tracked it will be possible to prove where the delay occurs, as well as verifying receipt etc.
