I have been baking since I learnt in Home Economics at school back in the 1970s – so that would be about 40 years now, and it has remained a passion with me. I was known as the one who was always baking strange and unusual things back then and that love of new flavours and ideas has never left me.
I have now decided it is time to start to pass on what I have learnt since then to the next generation of bakers and cake enthusiasts. It is a wonderful journey of discovery, the world has shrunk so much and we have become truly international in our thirst for new with flavour combinations now being tried all the time.
